Google’s Neil Hoyne shares career wisdom with students
The Aspire Center hosted Google Chief Strategist Officer Neil Hoyne on Oct. 10. His insightful dialogue on his experiences and career path provided invaluable knowledge and inspiration to Carthage students.
Mr. Hoyne shared fun facts about Google (did you know it was almost named BackRub?) and his journey of tenacity in the application process, submitting over 30 applications before landing his first job at Google.
Mr. Hoyne’s journey and stories left a lasting impact on our campus community. His presentation has undoubtedly broadened students’ perspectives and provided them with a deeper understanding of the professional world.
We are immensely thankful to Mr. Hoyne for taking the time to share his expertise and experiences with our students. We truly appreciate the support and collaboration from professors, the Kenosha Area Business Alliance, and the Carthage community in making this event possible. It is through partnerships like these that we can provide our students with enriching experiences and valuable insights into various career paths.
